You probably know of the big cities in California like San Francisco, Los Angeles and Hollywood, but the hidden jewel of this great state is known as Carmel by the Sea. This little town is charming and sweet despite its well known status as such a great place to visit. One of the reasons so many people head to Carmel by the Sea is to shop. That’s because the shopping there is outstanding with galleries and shops lining the streets.
If you choose to vacation in this delightful little town you will certainly find it worthwhile and even refreshing. There are a lot of fun things you can do, which include taking a walking tour, just walking along the beach, taking a drive from Pacific Grove to Carmel by the Sea, or checking out the Carmel Mission. This mission is the state’s second mission and it is certainly worthwhile to visit.
Another great way to enjoy your time here is to take a drive to Point Lobos. This location offers an amazing view where the water and land meet and it is perhaps one of the most special places on earth. Once you arrive spread out a blanket and enjoy a picnic on the sand. This is a romantic location with flowers blossoming, coves, and wildlife about.

If you think that scuba diving is all about attaching an oxygen tank in your back and breathing through it with the use of a regulator, then you are wrong. There’s a lot more to scuba diving than that. In fact, pure oxygen is never used in scuba diving, especially on deep sea diving.
In recreational diving, air is commonly used and not pure oxygen as most people assume. Air is basically composed of 70 percent nitrogen and 30 percent oxygen. However, nitrox mixes are now being used a lot more in recreational diving as it decreases the chances of nitrogen sickness. Although nitrox is still composed of nitrogen and oxygen, the oxygen concentration is a lot higher than air. This will reduce the risk of nitrogen sickness or bends, but it trades off depth. The more oxygen there is in your scuba diving tank, the shallower you are allowed to dive.
So, just why is pure oxygen not used in deep sea diving? This is because of oxygen toxicity. As you go deeper underwater, the pressure increases and oxygen toxicity becomes a factor. So, by reducing oxygen in the air you breathe, you will be able to go deeper. However, by doing so, you will also increase the amount of nitrogen in the air you are breathing which can result in nitrogen narcosis when you go deeper as well as nitrogen sickness or the bends.

There are many reasons why the Caribbean is the perfect honeymoon spot. First, not many people live in a magical tropical paradise as is found on most of the Caribbean islands. Because we do not live in this kind of weather, the Caribbean is an escape from reality. Another reason when the Caribbean is a great place for a vacation is because it is in fact so popular. The islands cater to couples and love, and you can find a variety of special activities available just for newlyweds.
To plan a honeymoon in the Caribbean, you must start long before you even finish planning your wedding. First, consider how much the honeymoon will cost in your budget. If you overspend, you’ll find yourself coming home to a new life filled with debt, and that is never a great way to start a new life. Instead, start with a budget in mind and find a Caribbean island that can meet your needs.
The second thing you should consider when it comes to planning a Caribbean honeymoon is that you’ll need a way to transition from the wedding to the honeymoon. Traditionally, the honeymoon was to start on your wedding night, but most couples also love to hold wedding receptions. Your wedding reception will probably last well into the night, and leaving for an airplane trip to the Caribbean islands may not be the best idea at that point. Instead, lots of couples are opting to spend the night in a local hotel and leave for the honeymoon in the morning.

With A chef hailed by critics “formidably Gifted” and a “residential genius” expectations are set high.
Three on the bund is a magnificant building which is only fitting as its the first Jean George restaurant outside of New York’s Trump Tower.
Dining where Katie and Tom had dined just the week before only added to the excitement and the WOW factor.
The food was divine. We had the degustation and each course was more delicious and orginal than the last. Be prepared to tanatalise the taste buds with fare such as Frogs legs, Pigeon, Caviar……and much more. All of which was met with a slightly anxious and worried palate – but one that had no reason to be and was not met with disappoinment
The ambience is fantastic and its a real dining experience to remember.
I do blame the sommelier for my fogging memory towards the end of the night. But the wine and Champagne recommendations resulted in us ordering more and more of the beautifully matched bottles.
